Alicia Rodriguez, MBA, FACHE is the CEO for GoldenPace Health. Alicia is entrusted with advancing GoldenPace Health’s mission to protect, promote, and enhance the quality of life for seniors and their caregivers in California's traditionally underserved and rural communities. She leads the organization’s direction, and builds and manages partnerships with government agencies and community stakeholders.
With her unique combination of strategic and technical expertise, Alicia is a recognized thought leader in healthcare innovation and transformation. Prior to joining GoldenPace, Alicia was responsible for the growth and expansion of San Ysidro Health’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, San Diego PACE. For twelve years, Alicia was a key member of San Ysidro Health’s executive team where she established a record of achieving exceptional outcomes while leading strategic initiatives to positively impact the lives of the most vulnerable populations in the San Diego region. Alicia previously held leadership roles in healthcare technology for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a cutting-edge teaching hospital and multi-specialty academic health science center in Los Angeles, after launching her career in project and grant management at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
Alicia holds an MBA from Pepperdine University with a focus on Organizational Leadership and a BS in Business Administration from the University of La Verne. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Greenbelt in Lean Six Sigma.
Alicia has served as a speaker, presenter, and panelist for a number healthcare conferences and as a Board Member for the California PACE Association, CalPACE, where she represented San Diego PACE and San Ysidro Health. Alicia is a current member of the Santa Cruz County Seniors Commission, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Monterey County Area Agency on Aging.
Alicia resides in the Central Coast with her husband. She has two daughters, one earning her Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Cruz, and the other pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Barcelona. With extended family of every generation in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Central Coast, Alicia is passionate about uplifting California communities and improving the lives of California’s seniors.

For more than 15 years, Teresa has successfully built relationships and managed communications and outreach for local government officials, non-profit organizations, and cutting-edge companies of all sizes throughout California. In addition to running her own small business, she has taught college business courses and held executive positions focused on strategic partnerships and communications for companies in Los Angeles and San Diego. She established her government experience working as a representative for California State Senator Jack Scott and as a Regional Public Affairs Manager at the League of California Cities.
Teresa was elected to the Carlsbad City Council in 2020. Teresa sits on the Carlsbad City Council Legislative Subcommittee and is the city’s representative to multiple regional and local organizations: League of California Cities, League of California Cities Latino Caucus, San Diego County Water Authority, Carlsbad City/Schools Committee, Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, North County Dispatch JPA, Clean Energy Alliance JPA (alternate), and Encina Wastewater Authority (Alternate). For the past two years, she has served as Chair of the Board of the Institute for Local Government. She is a lifetime member of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. She previously served on the Board of Directors of MAAC Project and the National Charity League. She helped form the San Diego Union-Tribune Community Advisory Board, and is a graduate of the HOPE Leadership Institute, the Center for Creative Leadership Latina Leaders Program, the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, the Carlsbad Citizens Academy, and the San Diego Regional Water Authority Citizens Water Academy. She is an active member and contributor of multiple environmental and community non-profit organizations.
Teresa earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. While pursuing her graduate studies, she participated in international courses at the Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Teresa lives in La Costa, in Carlsbad’s District 4, with her family and enjoys many hobbies, including cooking and gardening. She is the proud mother of a graduate of Sage Creek High School and UC Santa Cruz.

Murphy, MD, MBA, FACOG, CPE is an experienced clinician, educator, healthcare executive and consultant with a wide-ranging career across multiple healthcare delivery systems including the military, private practice, academic medicine, and integrated healthcare organizations. After a distinguished career practicing and teaching Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Murphy has held multiple c-suite positions from Chief Medical Officer to President and CEO in several large integrated medical groups, health systems, insurers, and private equity platforms. He has also served extensively as a subject matter expert and consultant to industry, professional organizations, regulatory bodies, hospitals, academic institutions, and the legal sector. After 9 years of active-duty service, Dr. Murphy was honorably discharged from the US Army with the rank of Major.
Dr. Murphy earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, completed his residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center and his fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has held faculty appointments at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and the University of Toledo Medical College. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility, and is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE). Dr. Murphy also earned an MBA with an emphasis on healthcare and strategy from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
John is a committed oenophile who enjoys finding niche vineyards throughout the country, traveling to historic sites around the world, and spending time with his adult children.
